Viet Phap sponsors the 8th Organ Transplant Scientific Conference Program in Hue 2023

On December 14-15, 2023, Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Organ Transplantation Association, organized the 8th Organ Transplantation Scientific Conference at the Training Center of Hue Central Hospital. The topic of the conference was “The process and advancement of organ transplantation in Vietnam”.

The conference was honored by the presence of Prof.Dr. Pham Gia Khanh – Chairman of the Scientific Council, Prof.Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep – Director of Hue Central Hospital, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Cancer Society and nearly 700 guests attended, including representatives from various hospitals and medical universities nationwide.

This conference has attracted nearly 200 presentations from Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors, and leading experts in the fields of kidney transplantation, liver transplantation, heart transplantation, stem cell transplantation – corneal transplantation, pediatric organ transplantation, and issues related to supportive treatment during and after transplantation. Participants came from various countries such as France, Germany, Japan, Australia, and from major hospitals, universities nationwide, as well as professional associations in Vietnam.

Hue Central Hospital has successfully performed nearly 1,600 transplant surgeries of various types.

Besides that, the Conference also organized 04 CME classes on Surgical Techniques in Kidney Transplantation, Immunosuppression in kidney transplantation, Training on heart transplant techniques and state-of-the-art liver transplant.

The purpose of this year’s conference is to help colleagues have the opportunity to exchange, share, and summarize knowledge and experience in the field of organ transplantation, thereby orienting future development.
