Hai Phong, during 07th-08th of April, the National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion was organizing the 4th National Scientific Conference on Stem Cell in Do Son.
Attending the conference, there were Mr Nguyen Viet Tien – Vice Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tri – Director of the National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion and about 400 representatives from Haematology – Blood Transfusion hospitals nation-wide together with experts from Germany, USA, Japan.
With more than 40 scientific reports and essays by Vietnamese and international experts in the field of stem cell, the conference is a good opportunity for professionals in Vietnam to approach and exchange experiences as well as improve knowledge of stem cell transplantation, continue to develop stem cell research and apply to practical treatment.
At the conference, international experts highly appreciated the recent achievements of stem cell transplant in Vietnam in general and the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in particular and looked forward to continuing to widely cooperate with Vietnam in this field.
