The 19th Ho Chi Minh Preventive Oncology was held in Ho Chi Minh city on December 01-02, 2016. More than 1,300 leading professors, doctors, physicians and technicians nationwide from the Oncology field attended.
Prof. Nguyen Chan Hung – President of the Vietnam Cancer Society had an attractive report “Oncology in the biology flow” with much scientific evidence and vivid insights about the current update in Cancer biology now.
In this report, Professor had clearly indicated the significant progress in cancer control progress. The cognitive about the molecular biology of cancer would help find new drugs more effectively for many types of cancer including breast, colorectal, and lung.
Congress also noted several reports on the better results of treatment in many types of cancer from cancer treatment facilities across the country. Palliative care and nursing processes; the recognition, survey on quality of life, psychological status, nutrition of patients with cancer last stage are some controversial topics in this event.
